Responses to the Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) were due by 5 PM Monday, December 16, 2013. Thank you for all 41 responses. RFEI responses gave the park and committee valuable information which continues to be used in the planning of building a new community at Fort Hancock.

What is a "Request for Expressions of Interest" (RFEI)?

This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) invites those interested in applying to lease any of 35 historic structures available at Sandy Hook's Fort Hancock Historic District. Submissions should describe how the interested party would transform the use of one or more historic buildings within the guidelines printed in the RFEI brochure and tear sheet below.

Responses identified reuse of a single structure, mutiple structures or all 35 buildings available at the Fort.

The next step in the process is to issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), where further detail is required.
